G-Man Alter Bridge - "Metalingus"
From the ashes of Creed came this rated-R, guitar squealin' quasi-metal track! I dig it! SInce you're sweating already with this heat, might as well rock out with your cock out to this one!!
Rob Gin Blossoms - "Found Out About You" Note from G-Man: "Certified Tight"
Mr. T Redbone - "Come & Get Your Love"
G-Man Stone Temple Pilots - "Interstate Love Song"
This song might be one that just bounces off you now. It blurs into the background so easily after it was mercilessly played on rock radio and music television through the 90's, but give it one more listen. Listen to Scott Weiland's introspective lyrics and the fucking remarkable guitar playing. It's a 90's classic. One that should be remembered like Zeppelin and the Beatles.
The Bravery - "Time Won't Let Me Go"
Two songs because it's a long weekend. This track by The Bravery is a subway soundtrack tune for me. Doesn't matter where I am or what i'm doing. I can listen to it.
G-Man Social Distortion - "I Was Wrong"
Bucket List band right here. Need to see these guys live before it's too late. This was the song that made me go out and buy their record...I knew I struck gold early on and now I celebrate their entire catalog. Mike Ness is a true original. Social D!!!
G-Man Action Action - "Photograph"
I discovered this band the ol' fashioned way: Walked into a record store and heard it playing on the in store stereo and bought it then and there. Don't know much about these guys, but though the album had a cool sound; A blend of rock and synth-pop, with some punk attitude thrown in. Sadly their second album did not capture my affections in the same way.
Rob TBA Mr. T Metallica - "Tuesday's Gone" Note from G-Man: Shit yes!!!!
G-Man Stabilo - "Beautiful Madness"
I recently did my countdown for the 149th Greatest Canadian Songs Of All Time and I can't believe I forgot this one! Consider it the 150th song. Stabilo "Beautiful Madness" Booya
