I'd like to see Metallica do a true Halloween song. Their lead guitarist Kirk Hammett is known for his obsession with classic horror movies and comics. Seems only fitting. He released his first solo EP this year and while there are no lyrics to speak of, a few of the tracks have that chilling feel.

Often called one of the first punk bands on the scene, but the more I listen to them the more it seems they were just trying to pay respects to the pop and vocal groups of the 50's that they grew up with. That is perhaps no more evident than on this track from the now infamous Phil Spector sessions while recording "End Of The Century"
