G-Man The Philosopher Kings - "New Messiah"
I was thinking about these guys the other day and how incredible their second album was, Famous, Rich & Beautful. A cool album, filled with sex songs and confidence. Most of these guys have gone on to the production and engineering side of the music business. We still have smokey songs like "New Messiah" to remember them by though
Emotions are high and low tonight. Intensity is needed. Compassion a must. We can all lend our ears and provide shoulders to lean on. Strength is a prerequisite. Determination a birth right. Godspeed to you and everyone. We listen as one.
Rob
Big Wreck - "Blown Wide Open"
Mr. T Neil Diamond - "Sweet Caroline" RIP Mr. T's Grandfather...Song Of The Day's condolences
G-Man The Roots - "Stomp" feat. Greg Porn
I picked this song to inspire my favourite Basketball team to fight with a deep burning fire inside them against one of the NBA's marquee teams. Turns out...they already got the memo...
Doug Kurtis Blow - "Basketball"
Dano Chinese Man - "Liar" feat. Kendra Morris & Dillon Cooper
Jonny HP The Glorious Sons - "Everything is Alright"
We're a week later and we're still not thawed out. The guys haven't seen each other through the frost and condensation. Let's see if their song picks can inspire some heat
Rob Broadway - "The Last Saturday"
Mr. T Chaka Demus - "Tease Me"
G-Man The Avalanches - "Since I Left You"
I kind of wish The Avalanches didn't release their second album, it would have made their 2000 debut that much more legendary. This is the title track from that first album, with one of the funnest, saddest most original videos of the decade.
Doug Alice Merton - "No Roots"
Dano Flume & Chet Faker - "Drop The Game"
Jonny HP TBD Apparently Jonny is frozen to the Earth....thoughts and prayers
