Skin Cycle

 Rob

Broadway - "Don't Jump The Shark Before You Save The Whale"

Mr. T

Sandy Nelson - "Let There Be Drums"

I'm going to dedicate this pick to Rob

G-Man

Something Corporate - "Konstantine"

Perhaps one of the best and most unknown songs from the past 20 years. Something Corporate were one of those bands gaining steam along other emo/punk groups like Jimmy Eat World (who get named dropped in this song) ,Taking Back Sunday and The Used. Though unlike those other 3 bands, Something Corporate never really had a breakthrough track. This song was once described to me as the "Stairway To Heaven" of our generation. Maybe if the stars shone a little luckier on it, other people would agree with that

Doug

The Tragically Hip - "Nautical Disaster"

Dano

X Ambassadors - "Zen" feat. K. Flay & Grandson

Jonny HP

TBD

Mike D

Motorhead - "(We Are) The Roadcrew"

J.B.

A Tribe Called Quest - "Award Tour"

If you were born in the 80's or maybe the 90s more than likely your original Tribe repertoire may have only consisted of "Vibrant Thing" and a few other select tracks from the 2000s. Let's just say you need to dig on back to some original tracks for the really good stuff like these tunes. RIP Phife Dawg

A Tribe Called Quest - "Oh My God"

Step Through Grey

Rob

Broadway - "Gods and Men"

Mr. T

The Emotions - "The Best Of My Love"

G-Man

Stone Poneys - "Different Drum"

The evolution of music has always interested me. I started sifting through major and minor hits from the 60's to kind of get a grip on Pop and Rock's roots and DAMN there are some gems I forgot about! Take the Stone Poneys for example, timeless music with brilliant yet simple lyrics. And how gorgeous is Linda Ronstadt here?

The Four Seasons - "Beggin'"

And this one is just one of the absolute best from the 60's. Feels like it was way ahead of it's time. One of those songs that makes you time travel, sit back with a drink and turn off the rest of the world

Doug

Mos Def - "Sunshine"

Dano

Tears For Fears - "Shout"

Jonny HP

TBD

Mike D

Disturbed - "Shout 2000"

J.B.

Barnes & Barnes - "Fish Heads"

Alright now, before you ask me, "JB, what the literal fuck?". I thought to myself, this song is kind of timeless. With the world being weird , awkward and pretty crazy right now, what better way to sort of celebrate and make the times a little lighter. Also, fun fact, none other than Bill Paxton directed this 1980 smash. He even appears in the video. Enjoy the soup.

Hot Songs For Cold Weather

We're a week later and we're still not thawed out. The guys haven't seen each other through the frost and condensation. Let's see if their song picks can inspire some heat

Rob

Broadway - "The Last Saturday"

Mr. T

Chaka Demus - "Tease Me"

G-Man

The Avalanches - "Since I Left You"

I kind of wish The Avalanches didn't release their second album, it would have made their 2000 debut that much more legendary. This is the title track from that first album, with one of the funnest, saddest most original videos of the decade.

Doug

Alice Merton - "No Roots"

Dano

Flume & Chet Faker - "Drop The Game"

Jonny HP

TBD

Apparently Jonny is frozen to the Earth....thoughts and prayers
