Deep Purple were one of the first bands I was introduced to when my Father was getting me into Classic Rock. Theirs is a sound that is timeless and immortal. I feel I don't show them the love that I should. This one is off their rumbling 1972 album Machine Head.

I know these guys signed a huge record contract after or just before Throwing Copper. That can go one of two ways for a band, a successful career with longevity or fading into obscurity. However, my theory is that their name also did them in, especially in the internet era. Searching for Live or Live Band or Live Music or Live songs....you'd need to be very specific with your searches and let's face, most internet users just ain't it
