Clementine Sky

Mr. T

Van Morrison - "Why Must I Always Explain?"

G-Man

The Kooks - "Sway"

An unfortunate band name almost let this song be lost to obscurity for me. But it came on randomly while chilling in my backyard and it made me glad I ripped the album before giving it away.  Turns out they have some decent tunes, some cheesey ones too, but some good ones. The album now sits happily on my CD rack.

Doug

Flight Of The Conchords - "Too Many Dicks On The Dance Floor"

Dano

The Talking Heads - "Life During Wartime"

Jonny HP

From Ashes To New - "Bulletproof"

Mike D

Olivia Rodrigo - "Bad Idea Right?"

J.B.

Rusty - "Empty Cell"

Komorebi

Rob

TBD

Mr. T

The Manhattans - "Shining Star"

G-Man

Goldfinger - "Mable"

Pure, unadulterated 90's punk. With a dash of ska sprinkled on top. Mabel was an important name to me and some friends during my High School daze. So this song is the perfect time capsule of those younger selves.

Doug

Flight Of The Conchords - "Business Time"

Dano

Colm McGuinness - "Jenny Of Oldstones"

Jonny HP

The Fratellis - "Whistle For The Choir"

Mike D

Seven Lions - "Don't Leave" feat. Ellie Goulding

J.B.

Alpha - "Firefly (Receiver Mix)"

Well, I had a few great tracks lined up for today but this one spoke to me. For a long time I knew this one as Portishead "Music To Fuck To", and though Portishead has a ton of amazing tracks for, uh, extracurricular times, the track was actually one of those mislabeled during the Napster/Kazaa days of the early 2000s. The song still pleases all sorts of parts for your Friday and can set the tone for anyone's romantic or non-romantic evening. Maybe it's a happy F*ck Friday track?

Note from G-Man: I Thought it was Portishead too!!

Through A Filter Of Fortune

Rob

Neverending White Lights - "The Grace" feat. Dallas Green

Mr. T

Van Morrison - "Almost Independence Day"

G-Man

The Doors - "The End"

I can't right remember if I got more into this song because it was used prominently in Apocalypse Now, or I was drawn more to Apocalypse Now because this song was in it. Both epic pieces of art. High on my recommend lists.

Doug

Flight Of The Conchords - "The Most Beautiful Girl (In The Room)"

Did we have a theme this week? I hope not, because if we did I forgot what it was

Dano

Monkey3 - "Electric Mistress"

Jonny HP

The National - "The Day I Die"

Riiiick

Muffs - "Oh, Nina"

Metalian - "Metalian"

Mike D

Roxette - "The Look"
