I feel like even i've been sleeping on these guys and I own some of their albums. They never cease to amaze me with their "so-simple-why-didn't-I-think-of-it?" songwriting that just has this long lasting indelible quality. Basically I recommend everything and anything these guys do. Should be a truly proper Canadian Musical export.

Not sure if you've ever been the "Other Man/Woman"....but this song should strike a chord. Interesting backstory: Sloan's own Chris Murphy penned this. According to insiders, it's about his apparent secret relationship with Leslie Feist. Feist has never come forward about any love triangle, but I do believe it's pretty clear some heavy shennanigans were going down backstage. Tumultuous times....but damn, thanks for the great track

This one came on during my commute this morning and I definitely cranked the volume. I'm not the biggest hip-hop fan, but when this came out, 1999 I think? I was obsessed. Back then I couldn't just play it automatically from my phone, I had to wait for Much Music to play the video, which it rarely did. Or seek out someone who owned the CD, befriend them briefly, borrow said CD, tape the song, return said CD and allow friendship to run it's course throughout the remainder of high school..... I can't seem to remember who that was...
