I love going back to 90's bands and digging through their back catalog for songs I may have missed. Thats how I discovered this track from Local H. A unique, bi-racial 2 piece grunge act from Zion, Illinois. Not sure if this was a single or not, but to me it sounds like a mix between Nirvana and the Offspring! Love it

Twisted Metal Black was the pinnacle of gaming when it was released in 2001. And this song as the game was booting up is where I discovered The Rolling Stones, which in turn I then learned my dad is a huge Stones fan. Just being a pup of 8 years old, I would watch my older siblings play. For me this song will forever churn up memories of bonding with my family whether it be my siblings over video games or with my father discovering music.

Admittedly I don't know alot about Queensryche, but this song has always been a favourite of mine. Not really one I go to alot though. Just whenever I hear it i'm reminded of how great it is. Really needs to be in heavier rotation on ol' G-Man's list

Two songs this week! Just 'cuz. Love, love. love this 'Tallica track. Written during the Load/Reload sessions it got shelved then brought back and dusted off for the S&M show that saw Metallica perform with the San Francisco Orchestra. Definition of an epic tune
