Teal. But Not The Colour

 Mr. T

Frankie Valli - "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You"

G-Man

Bruce Hornsby - "Walk In The Sun"

6AM. A cool early August morning. I set out on my daily commute. Windows down. The highway yawns, flanked by green and yellow farmlands. A hazy Sun bathes the low hanging clouds in grey and gold. The opening bars of this song parade through my car speakers. My eyes narrow and I give a rare slight smile. Some days it's just wonderful to be alive

Doug

Tom Waits - "Hell Broke Luce"

Dano

Adele - "Set Fire To The Rain"

Citizen Banned

Mr. T

Waylon Jennings - "Luckenbach, Texas"

G-Man

Depeche Mode - "One Caress"

This time of year is great for reminiscing through music. Back in 2005, after breaking up with my ex, I was exposed again to a floodgate of music after years of near radio silence. I would download and consume as much as I could. Burn CDs and go for walks in the Winter nights, discman at my side, to clear my mind and reflect. This was one of the many songs amongst the tracks. It always brings me back to those days. An end. A beginning.

Doug

The Shamen - "Comin' On"

Jason Statham's greatest role. He is in an Erasure video too and it's pretty much the same role!

Dano

Tom Waits - "Gun Street Girl"

Happy Birthday Tom

Airbourne - "Runnin Wild"

Violation Bomb

 Mr. T

The Dee Gees - "Night Fever"

G-Man

Tom Waits - "Bad As Me"

This is from his last album, released in 2011. Not sure if it's intended to be his final album, but damn, what a way to go out if it was. I've always had Tom Waits on my bucket list of acts to see live. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like that will ever happen now, but i'm thankful I got on board a long time ago with this one of a kind artist. You either get it or you don't.

Doug

We Three - "Sara"

Dano

Pantera - "Shattered"

Jonny HP

Bloodhound Gang - "The Bad Touch"

Mike D

Hotel Mira - "Speaking Off The Record"

Twin High Maintenance Machines

Rob

The Tragically Hip - "Something On"

Inspired by G-Man's favourite song from each Hip album list! Great track from Phantom Power!

Mr. T

River Kittens - "Atlantic City"

G-Man

Reef - "Place Your Hands"

Another great song from the 90's that managed to evade my detection! Here I am already 40 years old, still rocking to tracks from the 90's like they were brand new! It's a great way to relive those youthful moments when you're struck by a new song while going about your hacky-sackin' 1990s ways!

Doug

The Tragically Hip - "Vaccination Scar"

Dano

Tom Waits - "Hell Broke Luce"

Jonny HP

Gwar - "Meat Sandwich"/ REDNEX - "Cotton Eye Joe"

You are to play those 2 simultaneously while the ghost of Jim Leahy whips up a shitstorm on Randy's cheeseburger storage gut

Mike D

Meduza - "Tell It To My Heart" feat. Hozier

J.B.

Peter Gabriel - "In Your Eyes"

What better way to start your weekend then with a little PG. Feel free to grab your trench coat, your boom box and blast this baby above your head

A Shriek; Inhuman

Rob

Alter Bridge - "In Loving Memory"

Mr. T

Damian Marley - "Living It Up"

G-Man

Tom Waits - "I Don't Wanna Grow Up"

This year i'll be 40....sigh. I am grown up. I'm a father. I have responsibilities...I know this. But sometimes, the words to this song still linger in the chambers of my memories...maybe just one more time on the merry go round? What do you say?

Doug

Dean Lewis - "Half A Man"

Dano

Cleopatrick - "Hometown"

Jonny HP

Skeeter Davis - "End Of The World"

Mike D

A Day To Remember - "Mind Reader"

J.B.

Unwritten Law - "Harmonic"

I found this song when I needed it most. If you're going through something and need to get out of your own head, this is seriously the track for you. The ramp up and the consistent lyrics will take you to that good place.
