This past weekend was the 23rd annual Jonny and G birthday bash. Not much needs to be said about except Gwar kills everything. That basically sums up about most of my life.

Reef - "Place Your Hands"
Another great song from the 90's that managed to evade my detection! Here I am already 40 years old, still rocking to tracks from the 90's like they were brand new! It's a great way to relive those youthful moments when you're struck by a new song while going about your hacky-sackin' 1990s ways!
Doug
The Tragically Hip - "Vaccination Scar"
Dano
Tom Waits - "Hell Broke Luce"
Jonny HP
Gwar - "Meat Sandwich"/ REDNEX - "Cotton Eye Joe"
You are to play those 2 simultaneously while the ghost of Jim Leahy whips up a shitstorm on Randy's cheeseburger storage gut

Meduza - "Tell It To My Heart" feat. Hozier

What better way to start your weekend then with a little PG. Feel free to grab your trench coat, your boom box and blast this baby above your head
One of my favourite heavy metal albums is Gwar's Violence Has Arrived from 2001. I mean look at that wicked album cover for starters. Gwar get a lot of flack for being kind of a tongue in cheek band, and yes they did start as a group of drunken art school mischief makers. This album though is a rebirth of technicalities and brutalities. Sonic metal sounds. With, of course, some of Oderus Urungus' trademark wit thrown in for good measure.
In honour of Gord's passing on 3 years this Saturday
G-Man
Gwar - "Sick Of You"
Gwar is a great metal band. I will fight anyone who claims otherwise. This weekend is the 20th annual Jonny and G Birthday Bash (See Jonny HP below). I have no idea how this is gonna go, but that's why I love it so goddamn much! Gwar muthafuxxx! Jonny and G bitchezz!!

STRFKR - "Golden Light"
So many good things seem to spawn from Portland. STRFKR is another one of those mutant things. They aren't just another indie rock band, wait, well they are but more in the realm of synth/indie/dance with a wide range of focus and talent. Starting originally as a solo project the group has expanded and so has their album line up since 2007. This track is a gem, turn it on, head out for a drive and turn it up. Chill vibes and easy days...bet you'll start nodding your head in a sleepy daze.
G-Man The Fall Of Troy - "F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X"
I fookin' love when the lead singer also shreds on guitar in a band. Such is the case with Fall Of Troy. I love the part that starts around the 3 minute mark, especially the bass pulls. One of my all time faves.
Doug Spirit Of The West - "Home For A Rest"
Dano Green Lung - "Lady Lucifer"
Jonny HP Gwar - "Immortal Corruptor" Note from G-Man: Holy Fuck Yes It All
We decided to keep the two-fers rockin' all the way through April! Two songs by each artist picked! Whatchu got Rob? Rob TBD Mr. T Stone Sour - "St. Marie"
Stone Sour - "Song #3 (Acoustic)"
G-Man Gwar - "Abyss Of Woe"
Sometimes we get angry and normal run of the mill music doesn't cut it. Sometimes the general angry music you go to also doesn't cut it. Thank Cthulu we have Gwar.
Gwar - "Bonesnapper (Faces Of The Slain)"
Doug System Of A Down - "Chop Suey!"
Walker Hayes - "You Broke Up With Me"
Dano Suzanne Vega - "Tom's Diner"
Chemical Brothers - "Wide Open" Feat. Beck
Jonny HP Great Lake Swimmers - "A Bird Flew Inside The House"
