G-Man The Doobie Brothers - "Minute By Minute"
Super deep catalog of songs to choose from when it comes to The Doobs! "Minute by Minute" features the great Michael McDonald on lead vox!
Doug The Black Keys - "Heavy Soul"
Dano Dave Matthews Band - "Don't Drink The Water"
Jonny HP TBD Riiiick TBD Mike D Blue Oyster Cult - "Godzilla"
Rob Glenn Frey - "The Heat Is On"
In honour of sweating my balls off moving this week...
Mr. T Biz Markie - "Just A Friend"
G-Man Tin Star - "Head"
Love hearing new music. Even if it technically is over 20 years "new". Discovered this one, and a handful of others, through a Sporcle quiz...though I know I heard it before, way back when.
Doug Black Keys - "I'll Be Your Man"
I just heard this song and I think it sounds like "Fine Love" by Steve Miller. You be the judge
Steve Miller Band - "Fine Love"
Dano Solomun - "Kackvogel"
Jonny HP Men Without Hats - "Pop Goes The World"
Riiiick TBD Mike D Alt-J - "Every Other Freckle"
Both Alt-J and CHVRCHES had great performances at opening night of Bluesfest, but a huge shout out to Eagle River Singers for opening the event!
Rob Dave Matthews Band - "Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)"
Mr. T Glenn Frey - "You Belong To The City"
G-Man Snow - "Plumb Song"
Mind On The Moon was kind of a comeback album for Toronto reggae master Snow. Though he has had several albums since his debut in 1993, this was the first album with singles that broke through to the charts. In my opinion it was ahead of it's time. This song is tough to describe. The reaction people have to it is fair in their own way. Take a listen and decide for yourself and remember that this was released in the year 2000
Doug Gorillaz - "Humility"
I didn't know what to pick this week and I found what I think is the new Gorillaz so it got the call
