London Bridge Is Down

RIP Your Majesty

Mr. T

The Tragically Hip - "Fiddler's Green"

G-Man

Hayden - "Blurry Nights"

I need to be a better fan of Hayden's. One of my biggest inspirations when it came to guitar playing and songwriting. He's doing a tour this Fall and one of his stops is close to mine...tickets sold out too fast for me to snatch one up. We'll see...

Doug

Josh Ross - "Iris"

Note from G-Man: Could only find this snippet on Youtube. Check it out on Apple Music for the full version!

Dano

Gorillaz - "New Gold" feat. Tame Impala & Bootie Brown

Jonny HP

The Sex Pistols - "Anarchy In The UK"

Mike D

Queen - "Hammer To Fall"

J.B

The Clash - "London Calling"

Personally I never had a problem with the Queen. I think it's a sad day for a fairly iconic figure. No matter what it will be a tumultuous change, and change is often a good thing.

Lycanthropy at First Note's Sound

Rob

Dave Matthews Band - "Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)"

Mr. T

Glenn Frey - "You Belong To The City"

G-Man

Snow - "Plumb Song"

Mind On The Moon was kind of a comeback album for Toronto reggae master Snow. Though he has had several albums since his debut in 1993, this was the first album with singles that broke through to the charts. In my opinion it was ahead of it's time. This song is tough to describe. The reaction people have to it is fair in their own way. Take a listen and decide for yourself and remember that this was released in the year 2000

Doug

Gorillaz - "Humility"

I didn't know what to pick this week and I found what I think is the new Gorillaz so it got the call

Dano

Twenty One Pilots - "Lane Boy"

Jonny HP

Trapt - "Headstrong"

Rocktober Part 3

Let's try and finish Rocktober on a high note and who knows, maybe next month will be a November to Remember?

Rob

Blink 182 - "Don't Leave Me"

Huey Lewis & The News - "The Heart Of Rock n' Roll"

Do you like Huey Lewis & The News?

Mr. T

Dean Martin - "You're Nobody Until Somebody Loves You"

G-Man

Santana - "Put Your Lights On" feat. Everlast

Aeons ahead of it's time Santana put out a fantastic album in 1999 which saw his classic rock style guitar paired with then current artists effectively introducing 2 generations to a new style of music. It's a format still copied today. Santana has said that his favourite track on Supernatural was his duet with Everlast, and while I dig the Latin vibes of "Maria, Maria", i'm inclined to agree with Carlos. My old man does too.

Doug

TBD

Dano

Gorillaz - "Stylo"

Gorillaz - "Rhinestone Eyes"

Jonny HP

The Trews - "Tired Of Waiting"
