Violation Bomb

 Mr. T

The Dee Gees - "Night Fever"

G-Man

Tom Waits - "Bad As Me"

This is from his last album, released in 2011. Not sure if it's intended to be his final album, but damn, what a way to go out if it was. I've always had Tom Waits on my bucket list of acts to see live. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like that will ever happen now, but i'm thankful I got on board a long time ago with this one of a kind artist. You either get it or you don't.

Doug

We Three - "Sara"

Dano

Pantera - "Shattered"

London Bridge Is Down

RIP Your Majesty

Mr. T

The Tragically Hip - "Fiddler's Green"

G-Man

Hayden - "Blurry Nights"

I need to be a better fan of Hayden's. One of my biggest inspirations when it came to guitar playing and songwriting. He's doing a tour this Fall and one of his stops is close to mine...tickets sold out too fast for me to snatch one up. We'll see...

Doug

Josh Ross - "Iris"

Note from G-Man: Could only find this snippet on Youtube. Check it out on Apple Music for the full version!

Dano

Gorillaz - "New Gold" feat. Tame Impala & Bootie Brown

Jonny HP

The Sex Pistols - "Anarchy In The UK"

Mike D

Queen - "Hammer To Fall"

J.B

The Clash - "London Calling"

Personally I never had a problem with the Queen. I think it's a sad day for a fairly iconic figure. No matter what it will be a tumultuous change, and change is often a good thing.

Ego Forum

Mr. T

John Mellencamp - "Under The Boardwalk"

G-Man

Hawksley Workman - "Safe & Sound"

When people talk about music I listen. Recently had a conversation with a few of my friends who happen to be big Hawksley Workman fans. He was quite active during the pandemic with various releases and virtual concerts. So, as I normally do with artists i'm not fully versed in, I asked what some of their favourite songs were by Mr. Workman. "Safe & Sound" was one of the answers that was shared amongst the members in the conversation.

Doug

Sam Smith - "How Will I Know"

Dano

Stick Figure - "Once In A Lifetime"

Jonny HP

Murder By Death - "Comin Home"

Mike D

The Royal Volts - "Head Down"

J.B

Robert Church & The Holy Community - "1988"

A band that does the West Coast dream pop vibe very well. Easy vibes to cruise to your local course or for sipping a mai thai at your upper scale tennis court. Happy Friday!

Suffer Requirement

Mr. T

The Coltrane Quartet - "Dancing With Myself"

G-Man

Deep Purple - "Space Truckin'"

Deep Purple were one of the first bands I was introduced to when my Father was getting me into Classic Rock. Theirs is a sound that is timeless and immortal. I feel I don't show them the love that I should. This one is off their rumbling 1972 album Machine Head.

Doug

Sturgill Simpson - "You Can Have The Crown"

Dano

Nina Simone - "Sinnerman" (SOFI TUKKER Remix)

Jonny HP

TBD

Mike D

The Royal Volts - "'Til It Breaks"

J.B.

Oscar Lang & Wallace - "I've Never Been To LA"

Neolithic Library

Mr. T

Michael Franti & Spearhead - "Love Will Find A Way"

G-Man

Millencolin - "The Ballad"

A song about high school reminds me of when I was in high school. Mixed emotions follow. Holding on to the last thread to make it through, all the while knowing some day i'm gonna look back and regret it all. Great track though. This band deserves more recognition

Doug

Jess Glynne - "Take Me Home"

Dano

Lamb Of God - "Redneck"

Jonny HP

Against Me! - "Suffocation"

Mike D

Bob Moses - "Love Brand New"

J.B.

Folk Implosion - "Natural One"

 The Return of Rob!!

Rob

Rage Against The Machine - "People Of The Sun"

Mr. T

Gramps Morgan - "Runaway Bay"

G-Man

Metallica - "Fade To Black"

Metallica seems to back in the public's collective conscious again, which is great. But they never left mine since I discovered them in 1996. For every occasion an album. For every emotion a riff. For every joyous moment a song. For every tear and heartbreak a lament. "Fade To Black" was from their second album, but just like many of their tunes, literally timeless.

Doug

Boyce Avenue - "Fast Car" feat. Kina Grannis

Dano

M.I.A - "Borders"

Jonny HP

Days Of The New - "Enemy"

Hobo Johnson - "Typical Story"

Because I'm due for 2

Fieldstone

Mr. T

Randy Travis - "Mama Tried"

G-Man

Galaxie 500 - "Tugboat"

My most recent playlist building obsession is great tunes from the 80's. I'm not just talking the corporate radio, synth drenched hits pumped out from the cheese factory. Stuff that can actually make you stop and take notice. It definitely took some digging and researching, amongst the gems is Galaxie 500. A Dream Pop group from Massachusetts. They just wanna be your tugboat captain...

Doug

Endor - "Fur" (Extended Mix)

Dano

William Prince - "The Spark"

Jonny HP

Mike D

Drake - "Massive"
