Mr. T

Dolly Parton - "Shine"

G-Man

Coheed & Cambria - "Three Evils (Embodied In Love and Shadow)"

Really should pick more Coheed for these things. Definitely one of those bands that you can dive into and find something, at least one song that you'll dig. They span so many different genres in their catalog and just really have some solid, kick ace tunes. Like this one from their second record. Cheers!

Doug

Prince - "Let's Go Crazy"

Dano

The Secret Sisters - "Dirty Lie"

This is so Rain Dogs era Tom Waits....Amazing..

Jonny HP

Cattera - "Hunger Of The Beast"

Mike D

Tiesto - "10:35" feat Tate McRae

J.B.

Cigarettes After Sex - "K"

a creature without fear.

Mr. T

Dyke & The Blazers - "Let A Woman Be A Woman (And A Man Be A Man)"

G-Man

Q Lazarus - "Goodbye Horses"

Note From J.B.: "Great Pick"

Going with an absolute classique tonight. Definitely falls under the category of "Meme Song" these days, but this is nothing of the sort. I unironically enjoyed this song when it came on my morning commute today and remembered back about 15 years ago when I rediscovered it. Those were great days

Doug

Janelle Monae - "Make Me Feel"

Dano

Blink 182 - "What's My Age Again?"

Jonny HP

Blue October - "HRSA"

Mike D

Queens Of The Stone Age - "Go With The Flow"

J.B.

Sun Kil Moon - "Space Travel Is Boring"

Mellifluent Response

Mr. T

The Bablers - "You Are The One For Me"

G-Man

Simon & Garfunkel - "America"

Not sure why but this song was with me a lot today. Last time I had it near a repeat status was when I fled Toronto. It's a great song to meditate too and just be mellow

Doug

Crash Test Dummies - "Superman's Song"

Dano

Lana Del Rey - "Summertime Sadness"

Jonny HP

TBD

Mike D

Oliver Tree & Robin Schulz - "Miss You"

J.B.

Surf Curse - "Freaks"

Hailing from the non-surf city Reno, Nevada. Still, they've definitely mastered that surf sound! Have a beauty Friday

Where The Sidewalks End...

Mr. T

Jennifer Lopez - "Waiting For Tonight"

G-Man

Ging - "Dear Boy"

Recently welcomed home a little lower case G. There are many songs I could have picked to commemorate this moment, but i'm going a little obscure with this one

Doug

Christina Perri - "You Are My Sunshine"

Dano

DJ Shadow - "Building Steam With A Grain Of Salt"

Jonny HP

TBD

Mike D

Metallica - "Nothing Else Matters"

Note from G-Man: "Great Pick"

J.B.

Joe Jackson - "Got The Time"

...The Bug Parade Begins

Razor Wire Shrine

It's October 28th! Which means it's the last Song Of The Day before Halloween. So some of our members, have decided to pick spooky scary tunes....others, well, I guess we'll find out!!

Monster T

Talking Heads - "Psycho Killer"

Ghoul-Man

Kirk Hammett - "Maiden and The Monster"

I'd like to see Metallica do a true Halloween song. Their lead guitarist Kirk Hammett is known for his obsession with classic horror movies and comics. Seems only fitting. He released his first solo EP this year and while there are no lyrics to speak of, a few of the tracks have that chilling feel.

Dead Doug

The Tragically Hip - "I'm A Werewolf Baby"

Danoooooooooooooooo!!!!

Rob Zombie - "Superbeast"

Jonny HP

Frightened Rabbit - "The Woodpile"

Mike Dread

Taylor Swift - "Anti-Hero"

J.B.

TBD

Sunset Swarm

Mr. T

Jackson Browne - "Somebody's Baby"

G-Man

The Ramones - "Baby, I Love You"

Been really vibin' with the Ramones lately. Often called one of the first punk bands on the scene, but the more I listen to them the more it seems they were just trying to pay respects to the pop and vocal groups of the 50's that they grew up with. That is perhaps no more evident than on this track from the now infamous Phil Spector sessions while recording "End Of The Century"

Doug

Harry Chapin - "Cat's In The Cradle"

Dano

Gramatik - "The Ghosts Of Piran"

Jonny HP

Airborne Toxic Event - "Changing"

Mike D

Lights - "Toes"

J.B.

Jaguar Sun - "With You"

Auxillium

Mr. T

Patoranking - "Abule"

G-Man

Slipknot - "Adderall"

The new Slipknot album has potential. Can't wait to pick it up. This is the lead off track and it may not be the sound that you were expecting to hear. Gotta respect a band that does things their own way. Slipknot has always been like that

Doug

Raekwon - "Guillotine (Swords)"

Dano

King Buffalo - "Ecliptic"

King Buffalo - "Burning"

That instrumental needs another with it.

Jonny HP

Brand New - "Jesus"

Mike D

Flat Moon Theory - "See Me As I Am"

J.B.

TBD
