Mr. T TBD G-Man Big Business - "Let The Grind"
The album stood out. It was on display above the milk crates full of vinyl in the heavy metal section. The cover art intriguing, a large bejewelled owl, hand drawn or so it seemed. Reminded of "Prey" by Planes Mistaken For Stars. Another album I purchased solely because of the album art. Brought it home and let it spin. I thought to myself...how did I let it all slip by me?
Doug Cake - "Mahna, Mahna"
Dano Big Sugar - "Leadbelly (Dub)"
Jonny HP The Allman Brothers Band - "Ramblin' Man"
We haven't had a theme as a collective in some time...Mr. T had the idea to reveal some of our Guilty Pleasures when it comes to music. Stuff we normally would hesitate to admit that we like out loud, with our friends, for fear of ridicule. But behind closed doors we can't help but bop our heads and tap our toes to. Looks like some members shed their skin a little more than others, while some still threw up a regular weekly pick. Almost a mixed bag as usual. Rob....kick us off...
Rob Earth, Wind & Fire - "September"
So fucking catchy!!
Mr. T Cher - "Turn Back Time"
Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton - "Islands In The Stream"
G-Man Soul Decision - "Faded"
This is an older one. I've kept it close to my chest for sometime. They're kind of a boyband but kind of not. They play their own instruments...that counts for something yeah? Shit..
Pitbull - "Timber" Feat. Ke$ha
Do I have to put the dolla sign in Kesha's name? I do. Ok then.
Doug The Highwaymen - "Highwayman"
Sorry I forgot the theme! I will find something else
Whitney Houston - "I'm Every Woman"
Dano Rihanna - "Umbrella" Travis Barker Remix
Fun. - "Some Nights"
Jonny HP The Glorious Sons - "My Poor Heart"
Maroon 5 - "Wake Up Call"
I didn't read the requirements first. That Glorious Sons song up there has a bit of extra special meaning for me today. I was at a job today looking at water heaters. It was a camp called Camp Ooch. Look it up. Camp for children with cancer. My poor heart
Riiiick Technatronic - "Move This"
Mike D Bring Me The Horizon - "Sugar Honey Ice and Tea"
So hear me out. I could list some pop song by J Biebs or Adele, but literally everyone would be like "yeah I can see that" So this Emo rock shit is what I would interpret as my guilty pleasure. It's something I wouldn't put on the song of the week but I listen to more than occasionally
Rob Neverending White Lights - "The Grace" feat. Dallas Green
Mr. T Van Morrison - "Almost Independence Day"
G-Man The Doors - "The End"
I can't right remember if I got more into this song because it was used prominently in Apocalypse Now, or I was drawn more to Apocalypse Now because this song was in it. Both epic pieces of art. High on my recommend lists.
Doug Flight Of The Conchords - "The Most Beautiful Girl (In The Room)"
Did we have a theme this week? I hope not, because if we did I forgot what it was
G-Man Ben Lee - "Cigarettes Will Kill You"
Never actually seen this video before. Takes a bit of a turn there. Great song from the late 90's early 00's that never really hit it big over here. Listen to this one a few times yea?
Hall'o'ween Pick Edgar Winter Group - "Frankenstein"
Mr. Terrifying Shaggy - "Luv Me Luv Me" Note from G-Man: Terrifying indeed...
Ghoulish-Man Goo Goo Dolls - "Broadway"
Goo Goo Dolls never get enough love outside of "Name". They've got plenty of good songs, like this one, from the close of the 90's. Maybe it's their band name who knows...
Hall'o'ween Pick Ghost - "Cirice"
My newest obsession and perfect band for Halloween!
Doug your own grave Hall'o'ween Pick Langhorne Slim - "Zombie"
Dano-Lantern Harry Belafonte - "Jump In The Line"
Hall'o'ween Pick Harry Belafonte - "Zombie Jamboree"

Hall'o'ween Pick The Dead Kennedys - "Halloween"
Mike Dreadful Rob Zombie - "Dragula"
Hall'o'ween Pick Rocky Horror Picture Show - "Time Warp"
G-Man Boxcar Racer - "I Feel So"
The many members of Blink 182 have many side projects. I think my favourite is Tom DeLonge's Boxcar Racer. Only one made under this moniker. Only one needed.
G-Man The Doobie Brothers - "Minute By Minute"
Super deep catalog of songs to choose from when it comes to The Doobs! "Minute by Minute" features the great Michael McDonald on lead vox!
Doug The Black Keys - "Heavy Soul"
Dano Dave Matthews Band - "Don't Drink The Water"
Jonny HP TBD Riiiick TBD Mike D Blue Oyster Cult - "Godzilla"
G-Man Against Me! - "We Laugh At Danger And Break All The Rules"
Harkening back to Jonny & G whatever the fuck year this was from

Killer killer
Jonny HP The Pixies - "Palace Of The Brine"
In honour of these beautiful Utah mountains that have graced my view every day this week
Riiiick TBD Mike D Ozzy Osbourne - "Crazy Train"
After hearing about this up-and-coming artist from Post Malone I thought i'd look into some of his earlier works
It's been a while since we themed it up here at Song Of The Day, so this week we got a little creative. Remember that song that reminds you of the Summer of '96? How about '06? Well this week the guys are giving you the song that will remind them of the Summer of 2019!! Some of them may have had to dig deep, but let's see what the future holds...
Rob Amos The Transparent - "That's The Life For Me"
Mr. T Mac Rebennack - "Storm Warning"
Human League - "Don't You Want Me"
Queen - "Radio Gaga"
This one is honour of Freddie Mercury's birthday!!
G-Man Faith No More - "A Small Victory"
I've always appreciated Faith No More, Mr. Bungle and Mike Patton in general, but never really dove too deep into their respective catalogs until this Summer. Found some gems as one would expect...
Queen - "We Are The Champions"
And 'cuz the Raptors are still the 2019 NBA Champions and always will be, this song has taken on new meaning this Summer
Doug Lil Nas X - "Old Town Road" feat. Billy Ray Cyrus
Dano Clutch - "A Quick Death in Texas"
Clutch will always be Summer
G-Man Jars Of Clay - "Liquid"
Hey, look at that. I picked a Christian rock tune and didn't get engulfed by flames. "Flood" was the bigger hit off this album, but this one's got that cooler 90's alt-vibe
Doug Bruce Cockburn - "Lovers In A Dangerous Time"
Shine on you crazy diamond
Dano The Wailin' Jennys - "Bird Song"
Ruth Moody just kills me playing that banjo
